Literacy Rate Kerala (1951–2011)

The literacy rate in Kerala increased steadily from 47.18% in 1951 to 94% in 2011, reflecting significant progress in education. Male literacy rose from 58.35% to 96.11%, while female literacy increased more rapidly from 36.43% to 92.07%, considerably reducing the gender gap.
